In 2010, a vision was born in the balcony of the Global Ministries Christian Church in Boston, MA. This vision, driven by a commitment to serve God and His people, was brought to life by Pastor Bruce Wall. What started as a humble internet radio station rapidly evolved into a beacon of hope and a powerhouse of information for Boston's Black community. This vision was Boston Praise Radio & TV.

With relentless dedication and a commitment to excellence, our station experienced phenomenal growth. By 2014, we expanded our reach with a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week satellite signal, broadcasting on our AM stations in Boston. This leap was a testament to our unwavering mission to uplift, inform, and inspire, grounded in the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Bruce Wall, our visionary leader, has been the driving force behind our growth. His deep commitment to serving God and his community has guided Boston Praise Radio & TV from its inception to its current stature. Under his leadership, a dedicated team of talented men and women work diligently, driven by faith and a shared purpose.

As a non-profit 501(c)(3) Black-owned and operated entity, Boston Praise Radio & TV is more than just a media outlet; it is a movement. In 2014, we reached another milestone when the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) granted us a license to operate WBPG-LP 102.9 FM Radio. This made us the only licensed FM station in Boston that is a church-based, Black-owned, social media, internet, and TV multi-media network in New England.

Today, WBPG-LP 102.9 FM Radio is a vibrant tapestry of voices, with over 25 broadcasters from across Boston and beyond, reaching audiences worldwide. Our 24-hour, 7-days-a-week programming includes local and national news, gospel music, and live talk radio, all tailored to serve and uplift Boston's Black community.

As we continue to grow, we are excited to announce the development of Boston Black News, an initiative dedicated to providing comprehensive and culturally relevant news coverage. This expansion is a natural progression in our journey to become the definitive source of information and inspiration for our community.
